Tarn is a tool for building app specifications. You own your content. We provide the service in good faith. Don't misuse it. These terms are governed by English law.
Tarn helps you build structured app specifications through an AI-powered pipeline. The output is a developer handoff document, not a working application. We make no guarantee that any specification produced will result in a successful build.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be 18 or older to use Tarn.
Everything you create in Tarn belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your content. By using Tarn, you give us permission to store and process your content in order to provide the service. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
Paid features are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods or unused credits. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact hello@tarnapp.com within 14 days. Prototype and code generation credits are per-project and non-transferable.
The free tier (B0 and B1 columns) is provided without guarantee of permanence. We reserve the right to change what is included in the free tier with 30 days notice to existing users.
You agree not to use Tarn to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights, to attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service, or to share your account with others.
Tarn uses Claude (Anthropic) to generate suggestions and responses. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before including it in your specification or sharing it with developers.
We aim to keep Tarn available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service offline for maintenance with reasonable notice where possible.
Tarn is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of business, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We will notify you by email at least 14 days before making material changes to these terms. Continued use of Tarn after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
